General
The concept is simple, it is just like the Club Airsport activities, but in a small group. Local transport is by van with dedicated driver. The week before we decide - within a radius of 1200 km - a location where the weather forecast is good for thermal flying.
We plan our stay in a B&B, hotel, Airbnb or chalets depending on availability. Transport to the venue is by car sharing, but can also be by van (for max. 5 people). We will discuss this at the information evening in advance.
The guide discusses the flying conditions every day and plans for the day together with the group. We try to fly together as long and as much as possible!
We go with a maximum of 7 pilots and a guide. The van with driver will transport you between take-off and landing and possibly a little further.
For whom?
- At least initial certification (Semi-Autonomous) or a higher certification
- Being a member of Club Airsport
- Being a member and a full BVVF insurance

Insurances
Paragliding Insurance
Mandatory. All participants must be members of the BVVF with insurance. Only the paragliding insurance through Aviabel BVVF is valid.
Travel Assistance Insurance
Highly Recommended. Insurance in case you have an accident with paragliding, are in need of medical assistance, and need to be repatriated back home. This is not included in the paragliding insurance. Travel assistance insurance with Europ-Assistance starts at €18.
Cancellation Insurance
Highly Recommended. If you need to cancel the training, for any reason (health reasons, major life events, etc.), you can easily reclaim your registration fee from the insurance company in the event of cancellation on your part. The best formula can be found at Europ-Assistance and can be combined with the above travel assistance.
Cancellation insurance with Europ-Assistance starts at €15.
Sessions
Club DeLuxe
Out of season, we go where it is good to fly. We are not tied to a location; we check in advance where the weather is good and go there. Depending on the weather, we will stay either at a campsite or an AirBnB. Flexibility in the function of flying—it can’t get any better, can it?
We will stay at a camping in the area, expect to camp in your own tents.
Minimum conditions to participate in this Club DeLuxe:
- Have obtained the initial license or higher.
- Have your own equipment.
- Full member of the BVVF with insurance. We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance and cancellation insurance.
