This training is an abbreviated version of a high flights training. About 400 kilometers from Brussels are the Vosges, a beautiful region that allows us to do a short training in a weekend or an extended weekend.

There is possibility to stay in a cozy chalet, or if the weather permits to camp. It’s just under 5 hours away, so if you leave around 6 p.m., you’ll arrive around 11 p.m. The participants agree among themselves who can possibly ride with whom.

We try to fly the whole Saturday and Sunday until about 16 hours. In good conditions this means 4 large flights. The weather in the Vosges is less predictable, so keep in mind that cancellation is possible up to a few days before departure.

Price

€ 235 for a 2-day, € 350 for a 3-day ministage. The use of all required material (wing, seat harness, reserve, helmet, radio) is included.

Insurances

Paragliding Insurance

Mandatory. Only Aviabel’s paragliding insurance obtained from the Belgian Federation (BVVF) is valid. This costs € 30 (valid for one calendar year), and we will arrange it for you, if you do not already have it via the training slope.

Travel Assistance Insurance

Highly Recommended. Insurance in case you have an accident with paragliding, are in need of medical assistance, and need to be repatriated back home. This is not included in the paragliding insurance. Travel assistance insurance with Europ-Assistance starts at €18.

Cancellation Insurance

Highly Recommended. If you need to cancel the training, for all kinds of reasons (health reasons, major life events, etc.), you can easily reclaim your registration fee from the insurance company in the event of cancellation on your part. The best formula can be found at Europ-Assistance and can be combined with the above travel assistance.
Cancellation insurance with Europ-Assistance starts at €15.

With a mini stage we usually go to the Vosges, but this is always in function of the weather forecast, we adapt if necessary.
