This training is an abbreviated version of a high flights training. About 400 kilometers from Brussels are the Vosges, a beautiful region that allows us to do a short training in a weekend or an extended weekend.

There is possibility to stay in a cozy chalet, or if the weather permits to camp. It’s just under 5 hours away, so if you leave around 6 p.m., you’ll arrive around 11 p.m. The participants agree among themselves who can possibly ride with whom.

We try to fly the whole Saturday and Sunday until about 16 hours. In good conditions this means 4 large flights. The weather in the Vosges is less predictable, so keep in mind that cancellation is possible up to a few days before departure.

Included: 

- The use of all required material (wing, seat harness, reserve, helmet, radio).
- Transport between landing and take-off (excluding cable cars)

Not included: mandatory yearly BVVF insurance, see below. 

Insurances

Paragliding Insurance

Mandatory. Everyone participating in any Airsport training activity must be insured through the paragliding insurance of the Belgian Free Flight Federation (BVVF). This insurance costs €30 per year (valid for the calendar year) and we can arrange it for you if you do not already have it from previous training. Please note: insurance from a foreign free-flight federation is not sufficient to participate in Airsport training activities.

Travel Assistance Insurance

Highly Recommended. This insurance covers you in case you need medical assistance and/or repatriation. Medical assistance is not included in the BVVF paragliding insurance. A travel assistance insurance with Europ-Assistance starts at €18.

Cancellation Insurance

Highly Recommended. This insurance reimburses your registration fee if you have to cancel due to medical or other serious reasons. The best option can be found with Europ-Assistance and it starts at €15.

With a mini stage we usually go to the Vosges, but this is always in function of the weather forecast, we adapt if necessary.
