Progression Training 1
The level 1 training is organized together with basic training, the high flights internship. This is therefore a second or third training in which you can build on your previously acquired experience, and you can grow forward towards autonomy.
Topics that will be covered
- Repeat the automatisms.
- Use of the accelerator.
- 360° turns.
- Reverse launch (facing the wing).
- Extend the flight (first soft thermals/ dynamics).
- Apply the priority rules with multiple wings in flight.
- Apply different landing circuits.
- Discover and manage different sites and different situations.
- Making correct analysis of the environment (topography of the site) and the weather conditions.
- Continued theory lessons.
Price
€ 675, the use of all required material (wing, seat harness, reserve, helmet, radio) is included. € 600 for pilots who fly with a wing bought from the Paraglidingshop.
Insurances
Paragliding Insurance
Mandatory. Only Aviabel’s paragliding insurance obtained from the Belgian Federation (BVVF) is valid. This costs € 30 (valid for one calendar year), and we will arrange it for you, if you do not already have it via the training slope.
Travel Assistance Insurance
Highly Recommended. Insurance in case you have an accident with paragliding, are in need of medical assistance, and need to be repatriated back home. This is not included in the paragliding insurance. Travel assistance insurance with Europ-Assistance starts at €18.
Cancellation Insurance
Highly Recommended. If you need to cancel the training, for any reason (health reasons, major life events, etc.), you can easily reclaim your registration fee from the insurance company in the event of cancellation on your part. The best formula can be found at Europ-Assistance and can be combined with the above travel assistance.
Cancellation insurance with Europ-Assistance starts at €15.

Progression training 2
De stage “perf II” is bedoeld voor piloten met minimaal 30 grote vluchten die de vaardigheden van “Perf I” bezitten en die autonoom kunnen starten en landen. Tijdens deze stage wordt de meeste aandacht besteed aan je gedrag IN de vlucht bij turbulentie en thermiek, het toepassen van de voorrangsregels op erg drukke vliegsites en het verbeteren van je performantie. Het uiteindelijke doel van deze opleiding is het behalen van het brevet initieel piloot.
