Progression Training
A week training… You’re going to fly!

General
All major high flight trainings are tailored to your training level, because your personal learning path does not depend on someone else's level, every flight is unique and the guidance you receive is by definition personal. So whether you are a beginner, progression level, or advanced level, you can always participate in a high flight training. However, the progression training is only for pilots in training who have almost achieved the initial license level with at least 20 high flights.
With the high flight trainings we go to places where there is sufficient room on take-off and landing for possible rookie mistakes, the progression training goes to places where there is less margin for error. Hence you can also expect the below program on high flight training, if you have the right level, but on this Progression Training the focus is on advanced exercises.

Practical
Price
€ 675, the use of all required material (wing, seat harness, reserve, helmet, radio) is included.
Insurances
Paragliding Insurance
Mandatory. Only Aviabel’s paragliding insurance obtained from the Belgian Federation (BVVF) is valid. This costs € 30 (valid for one calendar year), and we will arrange it for you, if you do not already have it via the training slope.
Travel Assistance Insurance
Highly Recommended. Insurance in case you have an accident with paragliding, are in need of medical assistance, and need to be repatriated back home. This is not included in the paragliding insurance. Travel assistance insurance with Europ-Assistance starts at €18.
Cancellation Insurance
Highly Recommended. If you need to cancel the training, for any reason (health reasons, major life events, etc.), you can easily reclaim your registration fee from the insurance company in the event of cancellation on your part. The best formula can be found at Europ-Assistance and can be combined with the above travel assistance.
Cancellation insurance with Europ-Assistance starts at €15.
Sessions
Advanced Training
The full amount will be charged one month before the stage. This deposit is to reserve your spot.
During the autumn holidays we go to a place where it is still warm late in the year, we fly to Algodonales, Spain.
This internship is only for people with experience of about 20 flights. So no first flights training. Algodonales is beautiful, but the takeoffs and landings are a bit more technical than the standard flying sites. If you are not sure, please contact us to find out if your level is sufficient for this training.
Algodonales is too far to drive to, so we go by plane. We will share the details of which flight we'll take and when by September.
Cost
As this is a training that goes beyond the standard distance, there are some additional costs to consider:
- We go by plane, but aim for the cheapest flights, count about € 250.
- Locally we have to rent a bus (and maybe an extra car), count about € 75 extra (consumption is covered by the internship).
- Locally we will stay in apartments, but in Spain this is not too expensive, count about € 200.
Planning
- Flight towards Algodonales either Saturday 26/10 or Sunday 27/10 (pending flights and costs).
- First training day either Sunday 27/10 or Monday 28/10
- Last training day Friday 01/11 or Saturday 02/11
- Return home on Saturday 02/11 or Sunday 03/11

- Wednesday 23/10 at 19h30
