An initiation day is the ideal opportunity to get acquainted with flying. Chances are you’ve already flown a few meters above ground at the end of this day. If you get the taste here, you can further join for the full basic training and of course we will deduct the cost of this day.

Everything in one training, that is the concept of the starter training. This training has been made specifically for people who are eager to start and can’t easily make themselves available during weekends for the basic training. The intention is that you start from 0, without any experience, and by the end of the week you have done your first high flights. Without having to go to the basic training first.

During this 6-day training you will put the knowledge and experience of the teaching slope into practice. Most internships take in the French or Austrian Alps. We also travel to Greece, Spain, Slovenia, Italy. The first day is usually spent on getting acquainted with the material and the environment and a repetition of the principles learned on the teaching slope. And then… It’s time for the first high flights!

This training is an abbreviated version of a high flights training. About 400 kilometers from Brussels are the Vosges, a beautiful region that allows us to do a short training in a weekend or an extended weekend.  

For those unfamiliar with the concept, vol-biv is the pinnacle of paragliding: we move through the mountains with our flying and camping gear on our backs, and improvise everything along the way: starts, landing, flights, meals & overnight stays. We’re on the move for 5 days of hike and fly, 4 nights in the tent below the stars. We walk up the mountain, we take off from anywhere we can or like, and aim for days of 30-50km, depending on the meteo. At the latest in the evening we all come together around the campfire to share a meal and a place to spend the night. Next morning the fun starts all over again! On day 5 we return to our beginnings & car, by means of public transport or hitch hiking.
